These are the terms and conditions for photoshoots in Paris, if you have any questions then please do ask, I am here to help.
By booking one of the Camera & Kit Paris photoshoots, you both agree with the following:
It is highly recommended that you book travel insurance. If booking the Une histoire d'amour - A Love Story Package then you must provide proof of travel insurance for both parties no less than 14 days prior to the date of your departure from London.
To the best of your knowledge, you both are in good physical condition and fully able to participate in a Camera & Kit Paris photoshoot. You are fully aware of the risks and hazards associated with city and urban photography; you voluntarily and completely assume full responsibility for any risks or loss, property damage, or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by yourself, or loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of participation in this photoshoot.
If booking the Une histoire d'amour - A Love Story Package you must provide copies of your passports no later than 14 days prior to the date of departure from London.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct travel documentation for France and we do not accept any liability if you are refused transportation by any carrier or entry into any country due to your failure to carry correct documentation & visas.
If you or any member of your party is not a French citizen or holds a non-French passport, you must check passport and visa requirements with the French located in your country.
Please make sure that you have double checked the accuracy of the information especially names and dates prior to payment of the booking, any changes in day/dates and/or names may incur an additional fee.
That both parties are aged over the age of 18 (eighteen), if aged under the age of 18(eighteen), full parental consent is required to book in for a Camera & kit Paris Photoshoot.
Camera and Kit accept that travel schedules may be subject to change, so please note the following conditions:

7 Days Prior to Photoshoot Date - Non refundable
8-14 Days Prior to Photoshoot Date 50% of payment is refunded
15-29 Days Prior to Photoshoot Date 75% of payment is refunded
30 or More Days Prior to Photoshoot Date 90% of payment is refunded
• Please note that cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your written request by way of email.
• If a photoshoot is scheduled to be shot within the next 7 days, we will not change a traveller's photoshoot date and will not offer a refund.
Cancellation policy for the Une histoire d'amour - A Love Story & the Hens Party Package
0-21 Days Prior to Photoshoot Date- Non refundable
22-29 More Days Prior to Photoshoot Date 25% of payment is refunded
30 or More Days Prior to Photoshoot Date 50% of payment is refunded
• Please note that cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your written request by way of email.
• If a photoshoot is scheduled to be shot within the next 21 days, we will not change a traveller's photoshoot date and will not offer a refund.
Payments can be made by way of credit or debit card via stripe, and bank transfer upon request.
Payment plans are available upon request, photoshoots can be paid for in instalments over a 6 month period, please email for more information.
Change of date requests
For the Fou d'amour - Madly in Love & the Amour de ma vie - Love of my life photoshoot packages
A change of date request will not incur a fee unless you are requesting a change of date within 14 days of the date of your shoot, if so a 100€ will apply.
For the Une histoire d'amour - A Love Story package
A change of date request will not incur a fee unless you are requesting a change of date within 21 days of the date of your shoot, if so a 100€ will apply plus additional costs for changing the Eurostar ticket and Hotel accommodation.
I hereby release, waive, discharge and agree not to sue Camera & Kit Paris from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in the photoshoot, in activities related to the photoshoot, or while traveling to and from the location(s) where the photoshoot is being conducted.
It is my expressed intent that this release and these terms and conditions shall bind the members of my family and spouse, if I am alive, and my heirs, assigns and personal representative, if I am deceased, and shall be deemed as a release, waive, discharge and agree not to sue, the above named releases. I hereby further agree that this Waiver of Liability shall be constructed in accordance with the laws of England, United Kingdom.
Retouching is available as an optional extra.
Special Requests / Coverage/ Photo Lists
You understand and accepts that the photographic coverage will be as the Photographer’s professional expertise determines and that no one photograph will be deemed more important than another. Special requests are not binding instruction, although every effort is made to comply with the your wishes. Any special requests not notified on the booking form must be made to the Photographer in writing.
In the unlikely event of schedule conflicts or double bookings, medical, natural, or other emergencies, it may be necessary to retain an alternative photographer. Every effort will be made to secure a replacement photographer able and/or willing to provide a similar package as chosen in this contract at a similar tariff. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the photoshoot package.
All image sizes are nominal. The Photographer will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to the technical limitations when processing film and paper and the anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials especially man-made fibres. It is sometimes impossible to record on film/digital the exact colour as seen by the human eye.
The client hereby assigns and grants the photographer and its legal representatives the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of the wedding for editorial, trade, advertising or any other purpose in any manner and medium. It is agreed that the photographer may display and use the photographs taken for advertising, display, website and internet promotion, competitions, public display such as in mail, photography books, store fronts, window displays, magazine advertising and any other purpose thought proper by the photographer. Any images or copies of images whether stored digitally (Negatives/Digital files) remain the property of the Photographer or otherwise and any computer program including any source or object code, computer files or printed documentation relating to such images are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied photographically/electronically or by any other means an image created as part of this contract without the permission of the Photographer in writing. Where a viewing album is provided, any breaking of seals in the album will presume a breach of copyright.
Royalty Free License
The photographer retains the copyright of the images as described in section 8. If a disc/memory stick/DVD is included in the package or one is purchased as an optional extra then the photographer retains the copyright however grants a Royalty Free (RF) License that permits the use of the image/s without further payment for any lawful purpose for an indefinite period. Uses include reproduction, making the image available on the Internet for non-commercial use worldwide. The Royalty Free License does not permit the editing of the images by the clients or third parties. It is also prohibited to allow suppliers and third parties to use the images without the expressed written consent of Camera & Kit Paris and a payment of the appropriate fee as determined by Camera & Kit Paris. Clients who permit their wedding suppliers to use Camera & Kit Paris images without proper authority will be issued with a breach of copyright notice and required to pay compensation per image used. The supplier will also be issued with a breach of copyright notice and required to pay compensation per image used.
The Photographer shall be granted complete artistic license including in relation to the poses photographed and the locations used. The Photographer’s judgment regarding the locations/poses and number of images taken shall be final. Due to the vagaries of the weather and the willingness of subjects it may not be possible to capture all the images requested.
Limitation of Liability
In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss. The photographer takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation and processing of photographs, including using professional grade equipment and professional grade backup equipment, however in the unlikely event of the photographs being lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons within or beyond the photographers control, the liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package. The limit of liability shall not exceed the contract price stated herein. The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a prorated amount of the exposures lost based on the percentage of the total number of originals.
Photographs will ready within 1 week of the date of the photoshoot.
Will generally be available 8 weeks of the date of that you advise of which photographs you would like in your album please note that the albums are handcrafted.
Prints and products
Must be ordered by you and your guests within 12 months of the shoot. After this time, we cannot guarantee being able to fulfil order and any order which we do fulfil will be subject to our then current price list.
Any complaints should be raised by the Client with the Photographer, in writing by way of email, within 28 days of first becoming aware of the matter to be complained of. If a dispute arises, both parties agree to submit to mediation to be mutually approved or upon failing to agree, be approved by the Law Institute of England.
It is agreed that Camera & kit Paris will not be held responsible for any Acts of Mother Nature and acts that could not, even with all due care, foresee or forestall including, but not limited to, hurricanes, floods, or storms of any kind. Such events may include, without limitation, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire, epidemics and pandemics and all similar events outside our control.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This contract and any dispute, claim or other matter of any description which arises out of or in connection with this contract is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English law. The Courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction to decide any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this contract, except that you may elect to choose resolution by arbitration under the ABTA Arbitration Scheme (if the Scheme is available for the claim in question) – see Section 6. If you are a resident of Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may choose the law and jurisdiction of Scotland or Northern Ireland instead.
